‘Dhup Chik…Dhup Chik’ is what happens when ‘Chora Chori’ groove together to a peppy party number.
Boxer Vijender Singh and actors Mohit Marwah, Kiara Advani and Arfi Lamba boogie to this Haryanvi party track from the film Fugly. The song sung by Raftaar has crass lyrics like, “Chora chori party mein / dhup chik, dhup chik hori se / chora chori party mein / chipak chipak ke naache re / pappi jhappi hori se.”
The track is penned and sung in shuddh Haryanvi, quite in keeping with the theme of Fugly which is set in Delhi and has Jimmy Sheirgill playing a blackmailing Haryanvi cop who kidnaps the four friends played by aforementioned actors.
‘Dhup Chik’ has boxer Vijender Singh also showing some of his dance moves. He plays a boxer and son of a minister in the film. Mohit Marwah plays an adventure loving guy, Kiara Advani plays a feisty girl described as ‘daayan with guts’ by her friends, and Arfi Lamba plays a cool docile fellow who runs toiletries business.
Fugly (watch trailer here) is directed by Kabir Sadanand. The film is presented by Grazing Goat pictures, which is co-owned by Akshay Kumar and Ashvini Yardi. The film also has a special song featuring Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.
