The situational track revolves around wedding preparations. A decked-up lawn has Punjabi lassies dressed in vibrant Patiala kurtas, and the hunks with doley sholey enjoying the festivities. The song questions the most debatable issue: Murga pehle aaya ke anda?, and has even got a funny explanation to it.
The track is more or less conversational and an interesting one to hear at that. But it lacks the peppiness to get one dancing like Saturday Saturday (watch it here) or melody enough to warm the cockles of the heart like Samjhawan (watch it here).
One would take delight in watching Siddharth Shukla in the song. The boy looks good! The track also features the talented Ashutosh Rana. The actor who plays a patriarch in the movie is seen romancing his wife openly in the song.
With ‘Daingad Daingad’, music buffs get to hear Udit Narayan singing a Bollywood track after eons. The chorus for the song also features Divya Kumar, Akriti Kakkar, Pratibha Baghel, Deepali Sathe, Niharika Sinha. Composed by Sachin Jigar, the song has lyrics by Irshad Kamil.
Watch Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and others in the new track Daingad Daingad. Do you like it?
