The 11th Indian International Film Academy (IIFA) weekend concluded in Sri Lankan capital Colombo with a glitzy awards night that saw the 3 Idiots team sweep the board in many categories. The film’s director Rajkumar Hirani and actors Kareena Kapoor and Sharman Joshi walked away with trophies. Amitabh Bachchan won the Best Actor award for his performance in Paa, but the superstar did attend the IIFA this year. Nor was to be seen his son Abhishek Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya Rai, both regular faces at IIFA every year.
However, it was Salman Khan who hogged attention. On the awards night itself, Salman made a grand entry on stage with a host of other Bollywood celebs including Zarine Khan, Govinda and Anil Kapoor.
