Welcome to the brave and bold new Bollywood where pretty young things don’t squirm at the thought of posing in their birthday suits before the camera. Aruna Shields, the British hottie who kicked many a butt in her debut film Prince with Vivek Oberoi, now turns into the wife of an adulterous husband in the upcoming film Mr Singh Mrs Mehta.
The film stars actor Prashant Narayanan, another Brit Asian actress Lucy Hassan and Naved Aslam. The movie is written and directed by Pravesh Bhardwaj and produced by Manu S Kumaran and Tutu Sharma.
Director Pravesh Bhardwaj had a tough time finding an actress who was willing to go nude for the film. The role was turned down by 60 girls. During the audition, one actress threw the script at his face while another called him a “loser” for making such a demand. Finally, it was Aruna Shields who came to his rescue and agreed to go nude.
