Double Cross is the story of an Indian couple living in UK. The husband is uneducated and unemployed, hence easily hen-pecked by his wife.
The film marks the return of Ayesha Jhulka in a major role. She only has two hits to her credit - Khiladi and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander, but that was more than ten years ago. Ayesha plays Sonia in Double Cross.
The muscular actor Sahil Khan was introduced by N Chandra in Bollywood with the surprise hit Style . 'Xcuse Me' followed after that. Sahil, the husband of Sonia, is uneducated and unemployed, hence easily hen-pecked by his wife Sonia who uses Sahil's good looks to bring in the bucks.
The hot sex-symbol Nigar Khan has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons. Allegedly posing nude for a Norwegian magazine, not being able to work in India, her top coming off on a catwalk. Double Cross has Nigar Khan in her first proper role - that of a stripper.
Sonia initiates her own husband into the gigolo business and handles his clients herself. On a trip to London to attend to his clients, Sahil comes across a stunning woman (Nigar Khan) and is hell bent on getting to know her better. Sahil discovers that Nigar is a stripper and then both grow closer as they realize how similar their lives are.
Meanwhile, Sonia is warned by local Inspector, Vicky to stop her illegal practice. But the shrewd Sonia has developed such a vast network that Inspector Vicky's wife too happens to be one of Sahil's clients.
Sahil lands up behind bars and Sonia decides to change her outlook toward her husband and her life. Unfortunately she's missed the bus as her husband and Nigar are deeply in love. Sonia and Sahil have a bitter confrontation that winds up with both of them assaulting the other.
Inspector Vicky learns about Sonia's deal with his wife as well and accidentally kills her in his fury. On hearing about Sonia's death Nigar fears that it is Sahil who has committed the murder and decides to take the blame on herself. Inspector Vicky reports that he believes Sahil is the guilty one. As the investigation progresses Vicky is overcome by guilt and confesses to Senior Inspector Raj.
Who will be found guilty and who will be acquitted? More importantly what does the future have in store for the lovebirds, Sahil and Nigar? That forms the crux of Double Cross from then on.
As the casting and storyline shows, Double Cross has ample skin show by the former real-life couple Sahil and Nigar. The film is expected to release in August.
