'Fareb', which comes with the tagline ‘Twisted Love…Unholy Obsession’, has the two hot Shetty sisters Shilpa and Shamita together on screen for the first time and their presence adds to the curiosity value to the movie.
'Fareb' is an emotional thriller. The three central characters are Manoj Bajpai, Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty. Bajpai stars as Aditya, a creative director of an advertising agency. Shilpa stars as Neha, a doctor and the wife
of Aditya. Shamita stars as Ria, a married corporate honcho and a client of Aditya's ad-agency.
Aditya is a family man to the core and lives happily with his wife and son, but due to the nature of his job, Ria and Aditya meet regularly and in time Ria begins to draw emotionally close to Aditya.
Aditya spurns Ria in the beginning but eventually he succumbs to her charms and the two end up sleeping with each other. Aditya confesses to Neha about his affair with Ria and this leads to a rift between the two.
The twist in the tale comes when Ria's husband is found murdered and being the prime suspect, Aditya is arrested. Aditya’s problems are increased when he starts getting blackmailed by someone for his affair with Ria.
How Aditya frees himself from the murder charge and finds the real killer and how he rescues his married life then forms the crux of 'Fareb'.
'Oops' and 'Khamosh' may not have made any impact in the box-office. But director Deepak Tijori hopes to be lucky in his third attempt with 'Fareb', which also stars Milind Gunaji and Kelly Dorjee. The film has substantial skin show by the Shetty sisters, especially by Shamita
