'Hello'

‘Hello’ is a tale about the events that happen one night at a call center when six call agents get a call from God.

Based on Chetan Bhagat’s bestselling novel ‘One Night @ the Call Centre’, ‘Hello’ stars a host of actors including Sohail Khan, Sharman Joshi, Amrita Arora, Isha Koppikar, Gul Panag, Suresh Menon and Sharat Saxena. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif chip in with guest appearances.

Sohail Khan as Varun Malhotra

Fondly called Vroom, he works as a call centre agent at night. He spends his days sleeping, rebelling, and spending time with bikes and girls.

Amrita Arora as Radhika

A married girl, most of her non-working hours are spent in pleasing her authoritarian mother-in-law.

Gul Panag as Priyanka Kapoor

A confident girl, Priyanka spends her nights at the call centre but her days go in taking care of her mother. Priyanka is about to get married to an NRI, much to the heart-ache of her boyfriend Shyam.

Sharman Joshi as Shyam Mehra

Shyam is a bright lad who is losing his girlfriend. On top of it, his career seems to be going nowhere.

Isha Koppikar as Esha Singh

Esha believes she is cut out for the world of showbiz. An aspiring model, she is looking for a lucky break in the world of modeling.

Dilip Tahil as Subhash Bakshi

He is the head of the call centre. However, he is waiting to be transferred to Boston.

Suresh Menon as System’s guy

Hanapam Swamy is the system’s engineer at the call centre. His job includes upgrading computers and ODing on Java.

Plot

Told through the views of the protagonist, Shyam (Sharman Joshi), it is a story of almost-lost love, thwarted ambitions, absence of family affection, pressures of a patriarchal set up, and the work environment of a globalized office.

It is a story of six call agents who see their worlds crumbling around them as the decisions of right sizing are conveyed by their boss.

It is a night when dreams will finally crumble. For there is a call from God!

Narrated as a tale within a tale, as a beautiful woman meets the narrator and promises to tell him a unique tale on the condition that he has to narrate it further.

‘Hello’ has Salman Khan playing the narrator. He also appears in a special song called ‘Bang Bang’.

‘Hello’ is directed by Salman’s brother-in-law Atull Agnihotri . The film has music by Sajid-Wajid and lyrics by Jalees Sherwani.

The film is set to hit the theatres on October 10.
