'Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.'

Six married couples go on a packaged honeymoon tour from Mumbai to Goa. This tour on a bus is full of fun, frivolity, surprises and heartaches.

‘Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.’ promises light-hearted entertainment. The movie is written and directed by Reema Kagti. It is jointly produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Vishal-Shekhar have composed the movie’s songs.

Characters:

Boman Irani and Shabana Azmi: Oscar (Boman) and Nahid (Shabana) may seem

a bit odd in the group of young honeymooners, but they have discovered new hope and happiness at this age of their lives. They are from Bombay.

Kay Kay Menon and Raima Sen: They are a couple with a rather conservative mindset. Partho (Kay Kay) and Milli (Raima) have come on their honeymoon from the suburbs of Kolkata. Partho is a bit uptight and has an old-fashioned sense of morality. But Milli is willing to break the mould. Once she begins to open up, Partho finds things slipping out of his control.

Abhay Deol and Minissha Lamba: They fell in love when they were just adolescents. Aspi (Abhay) and Zara (Minissha) have known each other since they were eight years of age. They seem like perfect couple, made for each other. But there is a secret behind their superb compatibility.

Karan Khanna and Amisha Patel: Pinky (Amisha) and Vicky (Karan) have come from Delhi. Pinky’s idea of love is very filmi. Even as she tries to have her honeymoon of dreams, her husband remains aloof. There is something going on in his mind that keeps distracting him from his lovely wife.

Ranvir Shorey and Dia Mirza: Hitesh (Ranvir) and Shilpa (Dia) are the newly-married from Surat, Gujarat. Shilpa is a very reserved girl. She wasn’t willing to come on a honeymoon in the first place. But it was Hitesh who persuaded her to come to Goa.

Vikram Chatwal and Sandhya Mridul: Madhu (Sandhya) met the man of her dreams on the Internet. She lives in Mumbai and her NRI husband Bunty (Vikram) is from Los Angeles. Despite coming from two very distinct worlds, Madhu and Bunty make a perfect couple. Well, almost.

Story

‘Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.’ is the story of these six couples on a bus ride from Mumbai to Goa. On this journey, many different stories exploring the nature of love and relationships unfold.

To add to the fun, a radio show ‘Pyar Ke Lamhe’ is interwoven in the plot. The show’s jockey talks about individual characters and reveals secrets about their past.

And not to forget, there is an anonymous man on a bike, in leather jacket and helmet, who is following the bus carrying the couples on their Honeymoon trip.

‘Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.’ is slated to hit the theatres on February 23.
