Unlike David Dhawan's previous slapstick comedy films, “HKKN” does pack a considerable punch of situational humor.
A lovelorn gangster smitten by a blue-eyed beauty seeks the help of a shrink who is none other than the girl's brother. The characters, and their placement in the plot are quite funny.
The chemistry between Amitabh Bachchan ( the hapless psychiatrist) and Sanjay Dutt ( the underworld don) in the initial reels is quite incredible. Big B's timing is impressive, and alongside it brawny Dutt's foolhardy and crude humor does evoke laughter.
Ajay Devgan and gorgeous Ash too play their roles with ease. Their puns and pranks are quite humorous and well timed.
Overall Hum Kisise Kum Nahin is a promising comic caper with a good cast ensemble.
