The film has Zayed playing a rebel with a cause. He is a bike-riding cool dude who hates just one thing - injustice and corruption in the system.
It is this angst of Rocky against the system and injustice that often keeps him at loggerheads with his father. Rocky's dad follows a modest philosophy of living one's life without bothering about others.
But Rocky is different from his father in the sense that the rebel in him revolts whenever he sees wrong being done to someone innocent.
The movie has two actresses paired opposite Zayed Khan. It is believed that Isha Sharvani shares the screen space with him in the first half.
Minissha Lamba comes in the second half. This film is Minissha's second major release in this month after Anthony Kaun Hai.
As the movie's story goes, a tragic incident in Rocky's life shatters him and changes his perspective completely. Rocky gets into the thick of a situation where he has to literally fight tooth and nail for his survival.
Throughout the story, Rocky is scorned as a reckless youth by those close to him. It is only when the tragedy strikes home do people realize that Rocky is out of the ordinary.
'Rocky' is Zayed's second film in the solo role after his Bollywood debut in Chura Liya Hai Tumne . In a way, Zayed's acting career hinges on the release of 'Rocky' as his previous few releases - Fight Club and Shaadi No. 1 - have gone turkeys at the box-office.
The film is also very crucial to Isha Sharvani as she has not had a major release since her first film Kisna which was a flop. Isha, who is an incredibly skilled dancer, will show her spunky side in a slightly tomboyish role in 'Rocky'.
Minissha is Bollywood's cutest belle. She has made rapid strides in tinsel town after her debut in Yahaan more than a year back. Although her role in Corporate was a very brief one, Minissha did show her acting skills in Anthony Kaun Hai in which she was paired with Arshad Warsi.
'Rocky' is produced by Narendra Bajaj and Shyam Bajaj, who produced Aksar . Suresh Krissna is the movie's director. Himesh Reshammiya is the music composer. Himesh also sings in the film.
