‘Bus Conductor’ is the next movie featuring megastar Mammootty, whose Rajamanickyam has become the biggest-ever grosser in the history of Malayalam cinema.
Mammootty plays the honest Bus Conductor, Kunjakka, in the film, which is directed by V.M Vinu.
The educated Bus Conductor has endeared himself to one and all with his honest and winning ways. He and the bus named "Mythri" are a big hit.
A bachelor, Kunjakka also espouses many a social cause. He has a mission: to see that sister is married and settled in life. His own marriage can wait till then. His best friend is Najeeb, who is his nephew as well. Kunjakka is also a big Hindustani music buff.
Then fate springs a 'fair' surprise on Kunjakka in the form of saucy Sugandhi, who bursts into his life from a neighbouring state one fine morning. Life changes for Kunjakka with the entry of Sugandhi.
‘Bus Conductor’, produced under the banner of Vaisaka Movies, has music by popular composer M. Jayachandran. Girish Puthancherry has penned the lyrics.
The cast has, apart from Mammootty, Namitha, Jayasurya, Bhavana, Innocent, Salim Kumar and Indrans.
Needless to say, nubile Namitha will take care of the glamour quotient of the film.
‘Bus Conductor’ is slated for a Christmas release.
