After being off the beaten track for some time now the superstar of yesteryears, Rajesh Khanna is on the roll again. This time the veteran actor is all set to weave his magic on the small screen.

The man has four serials up his sleeve -- "Apne Paraye", "Batwara", "Ittefaq" and "Ghar Ek Mandir". He is also playing a pivotal role in K.C.Bokadia's forthcoming film "Pyar Zindagi" which is the remake of a Mani Ratnam's Tamil movie.

All the four soaps are family oriented and his character in each one is different. The first one to hit the boob tube will be "Apne Paraye" on B4U in which his character Vasudev Oberoi is hailed as the best role Khanna has played since his Anand days. "Ittefaq" will be the second one to follow on Zee TV.

Following the example of his one time bittersweet alter ego Babu Moshay Rajesh Khanna has decided to put politics on the backburner and hop on to the small screen bandwagon.
