On Sunday November 5 last, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor were blessed with their second child, a baby girl again. Sri and Boney’s first child is also a daughter.
Sri delivered the baby after a caesarian section at Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital. It was for this child that Sri had to abort her plans to make a comeback. She was all set to act in her husband Boney’s film that would have also been her comeback film when she learnt of her pregnancy. Sri and Boney are thinking of a name for their girl. According to the family pundit the auspicious alphabet for the child’s name is ‘G’. Sri’s family from down South is with her to lend a family touch. Sri has lost her parents.
As far as Boney’s film is concerned, Kajol was signed in Sri’s place. But due to differences between husband Ajay and co-star and Boney’s younger brother Anil Kapoor, Kajol opted out of the film. That was a setback for Boney but he roped in the top notch Karishma Kapoor.
Sri, a mother of two, continues to be the producer of the film.
