The Bombay High Court rejected a petition filed by Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala objecting to some scenes in the film 'Ek Chhoti Si Love Story'.
Justice F I Rebello who gave the order also allowed the film to be released.
Koirala had filed a petition against the producer of the film, Shashilal Nair, on the plea that he had used a duplicate in alleged 'obscene' shots thereby portraying her in bad light. This amounts to violating her right to privacy and defaming her in public, she had stated.
Nair had offered to credit the alleged objectionable scenes to the duplicate.
However, Koirala insisted on deleting the 'objectionable' scenes. The actress also challenged the final version of the film on the ground that the producer had committed a breach of contract.
Justice Rebello directed the producer to arrange for a screening of the movie at Liberty cinema on August 29 before giving the judgment.
