The countrywide protest against the screening of Salman Khan starrer Maine Pyar Kyon Kiya today spilled over to Patna with the Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) activists pulling down a hoarding and setting it afire at a cinema hall.
Shouting anti-Salman slogans, several BJYM activists led by its state secretary Sanjay Gupta stormed the cinema hall, brought down the hoardings of the movie and burnt it before being chased away by the police, official sources said.
They demanded immediate arrest of Salman for his alleged underworld links.
The screening of the film, which was suspended for about half-an-hour, had resumed, they said.
