Adding to the woes of Bollywood starlet Preeti Jain, a Mumbai-based model has alleged that she had contacted her to procure a girl for nude photos to trap a man.
The model Divya Shahi told Zee News that Jain had not revealed to her at that time the identity of the man but now thought it could be well-known director Madhur Bhandarkar in the light of the charge that the starlet had given a contract to kill Bhandarkar.
Jain is in police custody after being arrested in connection with the alleged plot to kill the director.
Meanwhile, Bhandarkar was on Wednesday questioned by Mumbai police in connection with alleged conspiracy by Jain to kill him.
Bhandarkar, who arrived at the Agripada police station in Mumbai to record his statement in the case was quizzed by the police for over three and a half hours.
Bhandarkar has been provided police security cover in wake of the alleged murder plot hatched by Jain, with the help of a former aide of gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli.
