HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | HAPPENINGS 'Paheli' recommended for inclusion in Indian Panorama12th Oct 2005 13.06 IST By Agencies India’s nomination to the Oscars, the Shah Rukh Khan - Rani Mukherjee starrer Paheli is among twenty feature films recommended for inclusion in the Indian Panorama. Apart from ‘Paheli’, Iqbal and Page 3 , and 15 non-feature films were recommended on Monday for inclusion in the Indian Panorama. 
Jury chairmen of both the categories assessed 82 feature films and 147 non-feature films. Feature films jury was headed by noted filmmaker M S Sathyu and its other members included Biplab Roychaudhury, R K Verma, Shalini Shah, Roja Ramani and C P Padmakumar. Films selected here include Daivanamathil (Malayalam), Beru (Kannada), Perumazhakkalam (Malayalam), Kazcha (Malayalam) and Antarmahal (Bengali). The non-feature films Jury was headed by veteran film director Aribam Shyam Sharma and had Arun Chaddha, Sanjivan Lal, MC Raja Narayanan, and M A Rahman as its members. Films selected here include Girni (Hindi), Ekhane Amar Nocturne (Bengali/Hindi), India Matters-Cycle of Violence (English), Tracing the Arc (English) and One Day from a Hangman's Life (Hindi).
