HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | HAPPENINGS Fresh summons issued against Khushboo29th Dec 2005 09.39 IST By Agencies A Chennai court on Wednesday issued fresh summons to actress Khushboo and two journalists asking them to appear before the court on January 12 to explain her reported comments with regard to the 2004 murder of a child in a hotel in Chennai. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Maharajan, adjourning the hearing on a petition filed by one Satish seeking a direction to the police to include in the case Khushboo and the journalists working with two Tamil weeklies, said there was some delay in issuing summons and fresh summons be issued. 
The weeklies had quoted the actress as saying that some "higher ups were involved" in the murder. The Magistrate, on December 15 last, had ordered issuance of summons to Khushboo and the scribes seeking their appearance before the court.
