"She was admitted to the ICU on December 31 and since then her condition has been deteriorating. It is now very serious", the sources said Tuesday night. 
Nadira, admitted to hospital a week ago, is suffering from an alcoholic liver disease called `grade four hepatic encephalopaty', the sources said. She was admitted to the Bhatia hospital in Central Mumbai following a paralytic stroke coupled with heart attack. "Since she was admitted to the hospital over a week ago, no Bollywood personality has come to visit her. There is no friend or relative attending to her. Only her maid servant is beside her," the sources said. The actress, a spinster, whose relatives stay in Israel, had stopped making public appearances for the last three years and played small roles in films a few years back. (File picture).
