Considering his popularity in US and UK, Omega International Ltd, a subsidiary of the Swatch Group has decided to make Abhishek Bachchan Indian brand ambassador of Omega watches.
This way he will be the second Indian brand ambassador of Omega after Sonali Bendre .
Earlier, there were rumors that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan , would be roped in by Omega to pit him against Shah Rukh Khan (brand ambassador for Tag Heuer watches) and Aamir Khan (brand ambassador for Titan).
But all those rumors were laid to rest following singing of the junior Bachchan.
Global celebrities like Nicole Kidman, Cindy Crawford, Michael Schumacher, and Michael Phelps have endorsed Omega watches.
Omega is also planning to launch a new James Bond collection to coincide with the release of the new Bond film.
Abhishek is also the brand ambassador of Ford Fiesta.
