HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | HAPPENINGS Manisha Koirala given police protection 22nd Feb 2006  09.34 IST By Agencies   Manisha Koirala has been provided with police security in the wake of protests by a section of the people in Mumbai following a media report that she had named her pet dog after a revered Muslim figure. Policemen have been deployed at Manisha's residence in Mumbai to prevent any problem following protests over the name of her pet dog, Additional Commissioner of Police Bipin Bihari told newspersons on Tuesday. A report in a leading daily had claimed that Manisha has named her pet dog after a revered Muslim figure, leading to demonstrations. However, police said the actress had no pet.
