HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | HAPPENINGS Pak film fest likely to be organised in India 29th Apr 2006  13.50 IST By Agencies   A Pakistani film festival is likely to be organised in the country soon to showcase remarkable films from the other side of the border, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt said. “The idea of a Pakistani Film Festival came up following the fruitful experience of Lahore where Taj Mahal and 'Mughal-e-Azam' were screened,” Bhatt told reporters in New Delhi, however divulging no specifics. “Pakistan film industry has made a number of good films specially in Punjabi language. All these contemporary cinema should be made accessible to people in India,” he said. “Pakistani artists have proved their mettle in Indian film industry.
