HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | HAPPENINGS Pooja Bhatt injured in road accident02nd Dec 2006 09.30 IST By Agencies Actress and director Pooja Bhatt on Friday sustained minor injuries when the car in which she was travelling collided with another vehicle in Panaji, police said. "She has suffered minor injuries to her head. But it was nothing serious. There is no need to worry," Director General of Goa Police, Ujjawal Mishra, said. 
Bhatt was on her way to the airport to board a flight for Mumbai after attending the ongoing International Film Festival of India (IFFI) when the mishap occurred 2 km away from the airport, Superintendent of Police, Shekhar Prabhudeshai, said. The actress was admitted to Goa Medical College, he said. "A foreigner, who was sitting in the car which dashed against Bhatt's vehicle, was also injured," Prabhudeshai said. The driver of the vehicle which hit Bhatt's vehicle was detained, Mishra said.
