Salman Khan fails to appear in court 12th May 2007

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan on Friday failed to appear in a court in Jodhpur for hearing in the black buck poaching case due to a busy film shoot.
Salman's lawyer H M Saraswat requested the District and Sessions Judge G S Surana to exempt Salman from personnel appearance, as he is quite busy in shooting.
Surana adjourned the hearing till June 5 and asked Salman to be present for hearing.
The court was scheduled to hear the arguments on Friday on an appeal filed by Salman challenging his conviction and imprisonment of 5 years for killing an endangered black buck while shooting in Rajasthan for the film Hum Saath Saath Hain .
A Chief Judicial Magistrate's court in Jodhpur had sentenced Salman for 5 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 25,000 on April 10, last year.
