Mahima Chaudhary plans to pen a book on motherhood

After her secret marriage to noted architect Bobby Mukherjee and birth to a baby girl, actress Mahima Chaudhary is now planning to venture into a new field -- writing.

The 'Ganga' of Hindi movie Pardes is planning to write a book on Motherhood, based on her own experience.

"After a month I will assess myself, whether I am successful in nourishing my daughter, whether I am successful in motherhood or not. After that I will start writing a book, which will centre around motherhood," she said in New Delhi.

The model-turned-actress, who was in the capital for the launch of a winter clothing of a popular brand, said she was loving each and every moment of motherhood with her five-month-old daughter Aryana.

Mahima, who played the lead role in a number of hit movies like 'Pardes', 'Daag- The Fire' and Kurukshetra , went into hibernation in January earlier this year. Months later, it was known that she had secretly married Mukherjee and gave birth to a girl.

"I always felt for the children as I think they are dependent on us. I have stopped thinking about me as all the time I am engaged in thinking about my Barbie doll. She is my world and all the things revolved around her," she said with an elated look.

On her comeback to films, Mahima has no immediate plans to start working as she is still recovering from her pregnancy and working on getting her body in shape.

"I am not fit at all. I am still regaining shape. My physical trainer is working hard for getting me in healthy shape.

"The day I feel that I am fit, I will start thinking on offers," said the actress whose last release was Kudiyon Ka Hai Zamaana in January.

But, still, the silver screen will have to wait a bit as she clarified that her comeback immediately would not be in a movie but on the small screen as she is seriously thinking about the offers which she is getting.

"I did get an offer for the reality shows and dance competitions, but my pregnancy at that time stopped me from negotiating, but now I have again started receiving such offers. I think shows like Reality shows or dance competitions are very demanding among the people and are very popular."

But films will remain her primary passion. "My first love always remains to be films, as it has provided me the platform to establish myself. I will certainly do a movie once my daughter becomes one year old. And my comeback movie would be a romantic comedy."

She has also discovered lately that the media has become friendly to stars.

"Earlier, media was not so star-friendly, but now they have come full handed and it is shown in their recent work."
