HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | HAPPENINGS Bachchan family offers prayers at Golden Temple 30th Dec 2007  10.00 IST By Agencies   Mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan , along with wife Jaya Bachchan , son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan paid obeisance at the Golden Temple in Amritsar on Saturday. The Bachchan family accompanied by family friend and Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh reached the Golden Temple amidst a tight security cover. The family offered prayers at the shrines after the demise of Amitabh's mother Teji Bachchan. They reached the Temple in a chartered bus from a private hotel, with over 70 personal security guards besides an extra security cover of Punjab Police.
