The award will be given to her on May 10 and Madhuri will be flying down from Florida with her family to accept the award. 
Padmashri, is an award of excellence conferred for excellence in a particular field. Though Madhuri’s comeback vehicle Aaja Nachle sank without a trace last November yet her popularity fails to fade as she has several hits to her credit, including Tezaab , Dil , Dil To Pagal Hai and Devdaas .
