Aamir goes on summer holiday without wife

The actor hadn’t treated himself to a vacation ever since his directorial debut Taare Zameen Par came. After the film’s release he got busy pumping iron and acquiring those bulgy eight-packs for Ghajini . After ‘Ghajini’, he lost those brawns to play a student in Raju Hirani’s 3 Idiots .

Now, he’s at last decided to take a vacation with his kids.


"Finally! I am on holiday with my children. After two years of working pretty much 24/7. Unfortunately, Kiran is not with us as she is busy with her film," Aamir posted on his blog.

Kiran is busy directing her directorial debut Dhobi Ghaat which stars Prateik Babbar apart from a host of new actors and a cameo by Aamir.

Aamir said he would now return by May end or by June.

“So I will see you now in June. Or end May…And once I’m back rested from my holiday I'll be much more connected,” the actor wrote.

However, in his goodbye to fans before leaving for holiday, Aamir did ask them to vote in the coming elections.

“To all Indians, remember to vote, and make an informed choice,” the 44-year-old star wrote.
