A number of Bollywood stars and celebs are coming together for a music video that will urge the youth of India to vote in the coming elections.In a country where majority of the billion-plus population are young people, Bollywood is doing its bit by coming up with a strong message – exhorting the youth to shed apathy towards elections and go out to vote. The idea has been seeded by Karan Johar , Tarun Mansukhani and Mukul Deora and carried forward by actor Imran Khan , who feels strongly about doing something positive for the country in the run-up to elections. A host of Bollywood stars will feature in the video. They include Kareena Kapoor , Deepika Padukone , Katrina Kaif , Imran Khan, John Abraham , Bipasha Basu , Ranbir Kapoor , Sonam Kapoor , Shahid Kapur , Priyanka Chopra , Farhan Akhtar and Karan Johar. 
Tarun Mansukhani ( Dostana ) will direct the video while Johar is the online producer. It would be an impartial video that will deliver its message without taking sides with any political party or ideology. The video will begin airing on TV channels ten days before the elections. |
