Katrina Kaif's personal items up for grabs

Behind that spotless beauty of Katrina Kaif lays a heart of gold. Okay! We may be exaggerating, but there’s no denying that the stunning Kaif girl loves to do her bit for social causes.

Just a few weeks back, she brought smiles to the faces of slum kids of Dharavi. Now, she’s offered to auction some of her personal items along with costumes and accessories from her memorable films to raise money for an orphanage run by her mother Susanna in Chennai.


It is learnt that the orphanage, Mercy Home, is in need of Rs. 50 lakhs to set up a prenatal care centre. And though Katrina could have loosened her purse strings and paid the amount herself, she wants to do it through an auction so that a greater number of people can be involved in the noble deed, which would spread awareness for doing social good.

Given Katrina’s popularity with masses and her fast-swelling fan base, a good number of people are expected to make bids to possess the personal stuff of the actress.
