Koena Mitra campaigns in Jharkhand

The sexy siren was quoted as saying that she did it for a friend, Vinod Sinha, who is the active member of Jharkhand Vikas Morcha. Koena was in Baliapur, Jharkhand, campaigning for JVM. She was there in the rally along with Babulal Marandi, ex chief Minister of Jharkhand and JVM chief.

Koena was there to add the glam factor, as she later admitted to a daily. The actress made the crowd wait for more than 2 hours and simply rendered one line in Bengali because the major population in the area is of Bengali people. The party also made the promise of building a film studio in Jharkhand.


Koena was in the state along with celebrities like yesteryear actress Zeenat Aman and Mahima Choudhary , who were there for other parties’ election campaigns. Popular celebrities like Preity Zinta and Aishwarya Rai have casually said no to election campaigns while Salman Khan has been campaigning for many.

Koena, who is facing a meltdown in her career like the economy nowadays, is busy with inaugurating new shops and stores, doing item numbers down south and participating in Dance Reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhla Ja’. Apparently, the actress has two films, one is said to be an action film while the other one is a comedy.
