Kylie Minogue enjoys lunch with Akshay Kumar

She landed in Mumbai on Thursday morning and was escorted from the airport by television star Ronit Roy whose security agency is responsible for the safety of the pop star during her stay in Mumbai. Kylie is here to shoot a video for Bollywood movie Blue .

Reports have it that on Thursday afternoon, Kylie was invited by Akshay Kumar and wife Twinkle Khanna to have lunch with them at their Juhu residence. The menu had Thai cuisine and seafood to suit Kylie’s taste buds.


Beginning Friday, Kylie, Akshay and other stars of ‘Blue’ will begin rehearsing the dance steps of the song choreographed by Farah Khan . The number is an A R Rahman composition.

Kylie has already recorded the song in a London studio. It’s a duet also featuring Indian singer Sonu Nigam .

The song will reportedly be shot in Film City but a few more locations might be added.

Kylie is expected to stay in Mumbai for at least 8 days. She would also sneak out for a sightseeing tour of the city, but all her plans are being kept under wraps for security reasons.
