Medical report confirms Shiney’s maid was raped

The case against the Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja has become stronger with the medical reports confirming that the maid, who alleges Shiney raped her on Sunday, was indeed sexually assaulted. But it is yet to be proven that it was Shiney who committed the crime.

“We have received the medical report of the victim and it has corroborated with what the victim has alleged against the actor in the FIR,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Niket Kaushik told a news agency.


Meanwhile, the police has also sealed Shiney’s house in Oshiwara’s Tarapure Towers where the alleged rape was committed. A special forensic team is at work to collect more evidence to ascertain the truth.

The police have also denied the allegation that special treatment was being given to Shiney. Sources from Oshiwara police station said the actor is being treated like any other accused. Shiney will remain in police custody till June 18.

Around 200 domestic maids are likely to gather outside suburban Oshiwara police station to protest against the actor.

Shiney was arrested on Monday after his maid complained to police that the actor raped her on Sunday afternoon. The actor is married and has a daughter.
