Preity Zinta enjoying her New Zealand trip

Cricket has become second love for Preity after movies. Okay, let’s leave Ness aside for the moment. Preity’s feeling high Down Under where she’s been invited by the New Zealand Tourism Board and New Zealand Cricket.

Apart from being the ambassador of Indian cricket, Preity has also been a moral support to the Indian team (who can forget the two T20 defeats!). She was on the field when the toss of the first ODI took place.


On the sidelines, she’s also been indulging in adventure sports like bungee jumping and sky diving in the rugged and scenic New Zealand.

And on Thursday, Preity was invited to a special reception hosted by New Zealand Prime Minister, John Key, for the Indian and NZ cricket teams.

Preity had a good long chat with Mr. Key and was impressed with his knowledge about India and cricket.

“I am surprised at how clued-in he is to the happenings and developments in our country,” Preity is quoted as saying in a media report.

Preity adds that the proudest moment of the evening for her was to see the Indian cricketers dressed in their national team jackets.
