Salman Khan gifts saris to women

The Bollywood star, famous for his generosity that he never himself talks about, was all heart when a group of women working in Film City approached him on the sets of Boney Kapoor’s production Wanted and requested him to gift them saris.

Salman joked with them a bit but soon gave in to their demand. He reportedly handed over cash to his Man Friday and told him to buy saris for all the women workers in Film City. The assistant bought about three dozen saris from the market and Salman himself gifted them to the elated women workers.


Earlier, Salman had bought bicyles for the children of the workers in Film City.

Behind his tough exterior, Sallu is known to have a mellow heart. Just days back, on the sets of his show ‘Dus Ka Dum’, when the ‘Slumdog’ kid Azhar told him how his dream of buying a bike will always remain a dream because his parents were poor, Salman was moist-eyed and bought a battery-operated bike for the kid.
