Shiney Ahuja meets the real gangster in jail

Reports say when Shiney – who’s in judicial custody on the charge of raping his maid – was shifted to Arthur Road jail on Thursday, the prisoners in barrack no. 3 surrounded him and kept bugging him for hours. But then Mustafa Dossa, an associate of fugitive don Dawood Ibrahim and accused in the 1993 serial bomb blasts case, walked in and told the inmates to keep away from Shiney.

Dossa reportedly took Shiney under his wing and tried to make him comfortable. The next morning, the actor was shifted to Dossa’s cell. The gangster reportedly gave Shiney a soap, a shampoo sachet and toothpaste to freshen up.


In fact, it was after four days Shiney took a bath and looked a bit fresh, reports say.

Incidentally, another gangster Abu Salem, on whose life ‘Gangster’ was based, is also doing time in the same jail. In the coming days Salem might also meet Shiney as the actor will remain in jail till July 2, unless he gets a bail.

The Chief Minister of Maharashtra Ashok Chavan also confirmed on Friday that Shiney’s case will be tried in the fast-track court to impart justice to the alleged victim as soon as possible. In previous similar cases in the fast-track courts, verdict was given within three weeks of trial.
