Newcomer Amrita Rao feels that her Bollywood career has got off to a good start, but adds that there are a number of crucial things she has to learn fast.
Amrita is thankful to god that she is finally being recognized after her Ishq Vishk and her for her role of a bubbly college girl in Shah Rukh Khan’s forthcoming Main Hoon Na.
Now that her career has got off to a good start Amrita feels she should “learn the ropes of the industry pretty fast.”
“Yes, I have to learn to say no. That is one thing very much needed in this field. Initially my heart used to cry when I had to turn down someone. Now I have learnt to overcome that. You don’t want to hurt anybody but sometimes you have to say no,” the 19-year-old newcomer is quoted to have said in an interview.
At the same time Amrita is quite aware that she has to perform her best to be able to sustain in the competitive industry.
“Nobody is going to invest on you if you are going to make a mess out of it. They will sign you only if you are lucrative to them,” says Amrita.
Presently, Amrita has three plum projects in her kitty -- Indra Kumar’s Masti, Farah Khan’s Main Hoon Na, and Gaurang Doshi’s Deewar- Let’s Bring Our Heroes Home.
