Shahid Kapur son of Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azim, is confident of carving his own niche in tinsel town within this year only.
Having born to a talented actor Pankaj Kapur, Shahid did not have to slog it out to understand the very basics of his skill. He learned dancing skills from Shiamak Davar, and also dabbled a bit in modeling.
But it is in front of camera Shahid’s credentials will be tested.
The young man caught many an eye and picked up awards as the best newcomer for his very first Bollywood film ‘Ishq Vishk’ after which he went on to sign a number of other plum projects.
He is presently working on Ken Ghosh’s FidaaFardeen Khan , Kareena Kapoor ), Satish Kaushik’s Milenge Milenge ( with Kareena again) and Anant Mahadevan’s Dil Maange More (with Soha Ali Khan ).
When asked how this year is going to fare for his the 23-year-old actor breezes with optimism.
“I think this year is going to be great for my career as a beginner. I have three crucial projects and more a forthcoming,” says Shahid.
Shahid also adds that working with three different directors has been an immense learning experience for him.
“I had the opportunity of working with three different directors who have a unique style of their own. It was a challenge to live upto everyone’s expectation and things have turned out groovy till now,” says the actor.
