Zayed Khan has said that Shah Rukh Khan was like an angel sent to guide him in the right direction during the making of Main Hoon Na.
In an interview given to a leading news agency, Zayed talked about his experience of working with SRK and Farah Khan.
“They treated me like a younger brother. They showed me which way to go,” said the young Khan.
Zayed also recalled how Farah put her trust in him despite the fact that Zayed’s debut film had turned out to be a flop at box-office.
“Farah proved to be a godsend for me. I knew I had talent. But I lacked discipline and experience. That has to come from the right guidance from working with focussed people,” Said Zayed.
When asked about his relationship with Shah Rukh, Zayed said: “What can I say, man? I love him! I've been a great fan of his work. My respect for him multiplied after I worked with him. I guess it's the same kind of respect that I've for Amitabh Bachchan. Shah Rukh is such a regular guy. In spite of being such a star he doesn't live in a fool's paradise. If I don't like something I can tell him straight off. He helped me grow as a human being and an actor. He has a unique way of dealing with people. He has an aura of calm about him.”
