Namrata Shirodkar is unhappy about the kind of roles she is ususally offered. However, the pretty actress says that now she has become very selective in her choice of roles.
Speaking in an interview recently, the actress said: "I don't like what I'm ususally offered. I'm listening to scripts. But they don't gel with my personality. Maybe one film a year would be enough. But it has to be the right film.
When asked if there was any role that she would like to play, Namrata said: "I saw 'he Passion Of The Christ and craved to be in something like that. I'd love to play Mary Magdalene."
Namrata added that she was eagerly awaiting the release of Gurinder Chaddha's Bride and Prejudice in which she plays elder sister to Aishwarya Rai .
"Frankly, I don't know how much of what I've shot will be finally retained. But whatever I've shot has Aishwarya and me in tandem. We share a lot of the frames," said Namrata.
Namrata is currently in the news for her role in Charas .
