Minutes before the premiere of his film Yuva at IIFA Singapore, Abhishek Bachchan said he was feeling a bit panicky.
We caught up with the actor as he was making a hasty entry to the main foyer next to the auditorium where his movie was to be premiered, and here’s what Abhishek had to say: “Today my performance will be scrutinized by scores of celebrities, directors and actors here at IIFA, and that makes me a bit nervous.”
When asked about his experience of working in the film, Abhishek had only good things to say: “Ah… it was a dream come true working with Mr. Ratnam. He is such a professional and has a distinct approach to filmmaking. Besides, it was quite fun working with other actors.”
When told that others in the movie’s cast are saying the Yuva belongs to Abhishek, the young actor took a humble stand: “It is their modesty if they think so. It just did my job well and now I hope people like it.”
