'Pirivom Sandhippom'
‘Pirivom Sandhippom’, which has the “Queen of Smiles” Sneha , and actor-cum-director, Cheran in the lead roles, is a much-awaited film in Kollywood.
The movie, directed by Karu Pazhaniappan, has many unique characteristics: it has, for instance, no villain and, consequently, no stunt scenes.
Pazhaniappan has a number of hits like ‘Chathurangam’, ‘Parthiban Kanavu’ and ‘Sivappathikaram’, to his credit.
Again, it is one of those rare Tamil flicks which do not boast of an item number, a must for the typical masala Tamil movie of recent vintage.
In other words, the film is imbued with a positive message, there being no negative characters in it.
Another ‘highlight’ of ‘Pirivom Sandhippom’ is that it features a kissing scene between the hero and heroine.
The grapevine has it that it took a lot of persuasion to get Sneha to lock lips with the hero, Cheran!
Incidentally, ‘Pirivom Sandhippom’ brings together the “Autograph” team of Cheran and Sneha, again, on the big screen.
Music of the movie, made under the banner of Gnanam Films, is by talented composer, Vidyasagar.
In the ultimate analysis, the film is a serious movie with a topical theme.
The director is sure the audience will give it an enthusiastic welcome.
