Nagesh Kukunoor’s latest film ‘3 Deewarein’ has Juhi Chawla making a comeback after a pretty long hibernation from the silver screen. Cast opposite her is macho man Jackie Shroff, versatile Naseerudin Shah and the film’s director Kukunoor himself.
The film tells the story of an ambitious documentary filmmaker Chandrika (Juhi Chawla) who wants to make a
film on three dreaded prisoners – Jaggu (Jackie Shroff), Ishaan (Naseerudin Shah) and Nagya (Nagesh Kukunoor).
Chandrika’s aim is to bring into light the lives of these three contrasting personalities who seem to have just one thing in common – their dream of freedom from captivity.
Obsessed with the idea to make an objective documentary Chandrika begins to build relations with each of the three convicts.
As she goes about making her film she stumbles upon the true reasons that compelled the three convicts to commit the heinous crimes.
