'Boom'

Kaizad Gustad’s 'Boom' is a stylishly shot film that is based on the nexus between the fashion world and the underworld.

The film stars a galaxy of stars from Bollywood and abroad – Amitabh Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, Jaaved Jaaferi, Madhu Sapre, Padma Lakshmi, Katrina Kaif, Seema Biswas, Zeenat Aman and Hollywood star Bo Derek.

The movie revolves around three sexy supermodels Anu Gaekwad (Madhu Sapre), Sheila Bardez (Padma Lakshmi) and Rina Kaif (Katrina Kaif) who live and work together in India and the international ramp.

The story

gathers momentum at a prestigious, diamond-encrusted fashion show set against the spectacular backdrop of the Gateway of India.

This smooth razzle-dazzle turns sour after Anu trips on the ramp, much to her public embarrassment. In a fit of rage, Anu, along with her two model friends, picks up a fight with the other model on the ramp and pulls out her hair. The wig on the model’s head comes out and hundreds of glittering stolen diamonds which were due to be smuggled out of the country, fall on the ramp, only to be snatched by the paparazzi and celebrities.

These were the diamonds stolen by Abdul 50/50 alias Chote Mia (Jackie Shroff), Mumbai's notorious gangster, who got his name because he takes 50% of every deal. Abdul had a plan to smuggle these diamonds to Dubai the night of the fashion show. In Dubai, they were to be handed over to his elder brothers in the syndicate.

Abdul’s elder brother Cut-Piece Saleem Suiting-Shirting alias Medium Mia (Gulshan Grover) handles the business side of their underworld operations, answering to the eldest brother Bade Mia (Amitabh Bachchan), the kingpin, the father figure and the most notorious gangster on India's Most Wanted list.

And Bade Mia is angry over the loss of diamonds. He wants them back at any cost “Come what may!”.

The task to recover the diamonds is passed on to Abdul who sets about to chase Anu, Shiela and Rina.

Will the three gangsters outwit the three models or will the models use their sex appeal and charms to get away?
