'Mere Jeevan Saathi'

'Mere Jeevan Saathi' is the story of a budding pop singer, his love and a girl who is infatuated with him and is ready to cross all the limits to get him.

Of late, Akshay Kumar has started to experiment a lot with his roles and is hardly doing any action film. He plays Vicky,

a budding pop singer in the film. Amisha Patel stars with Akshay for the first time. She plays Anjali, with whom Vicky is madly in love.

'Mere Jeevan Saathi' stars Karisma Kapoor in the first negative role of her career. She stars as Natasha the proprietress of a music company.

Vicky not only loves Anjali, but she is a source of inspiration to him. She lives in his thoughts, vision, and throbs his talents to immense heights. Morani and Torani who own a local music company are inspired with Vicky’s voice and engage him for their company.

Another Canada based Music Company Angel International Music extends offer to Vicky for musical stage shows in Canada on lucrative and handsome terms which he gladly accepts and returns the advance paid to him by Morani and Torani.

The Morani and Torani now want to destroy Vicky and plan to liquidate him physically. But instead Anjali falls a prey to their attack and is injured and confined to bed. Vicky is in a dilemma because he does not desire to leave Anjali in lurch and join the Angel International Music Company as required but at the same time he has to honor his commitments. Anjali persuades him to proceed for his musical shows. Reluctantly and under her pressure he leaves for Canada.

In Canada Vicky meets Natasha, the proprietress of Angel International Music Company. She extends and renders all help and assistance to Vicky for his shows. Vicky successfully earns name and fame and is recognized and acknowledged as most successful pop singer of the century and draws inspiration from Anjali even in her absence. Physically she is not with him but she is always there to inspire and goad him on.

Natasha likes, admires, dotes on Vicky and is enchanted by his magnetic personality and falls in love with him. Success binds them together and this leads to their physical intimacy. Vicky feels guilty and realizes that he has betrayed Anjali and relents and repents but to no avail as he stands committed to Natasha for his success and popularity.

Natasha and Vicky were classmates in college. Natasha had then developed liking for him and stealthily loved him. After a lapse of time, destiny brought them together again. She is now in commanding position and does not want to lose him at any cost. He is her valued possession.

Vicky is cornered and stands disillusioned between his love for Anjali and allegiance to Natasha. How he gets out of it, then forms the crux of ‘Mere Jeevan Saathi’

Akshay is a favourite of Suneel Darshan , who is the director of ‘Mere Jeevan Saathi’, which also stars Gulshan Grover , Ashish Vidyarthi, Maya Alagh and Alok Nath. Nadeem-Shravan have composed the music while Sameer has written the lyrics. Produced by Kareena Sana Combines, the film is slated to release on August 5.
