Garam Masala is a hilarious comedy, which comes with the tagline ‘Love Is Complicated’. Akshay Kumar plays Mac, a born flirt and a good for nothing handsome hunk, who finds himself in possession of an empty flat and access to three gorgeous John Abraham plays Sam, once Mac's
best friend and now his sworn enemy. Paresh Rawal plays the cook Mambo. His main job is to ensure that none of the three girls (the airhostesses) come to know of each others’ existence in Mac’s flirtatious life. This brilliant actor seems to have become a favourite of director Priyadarshan, as he is casted in all his movies. Who can forget the Babu Rao of Hera-Pheri .
Priti (Daisy Bopanna), Sweety (Neetu Chandran) and Puja (Nargis) are the three gorgeous but gullible airhostesses, who believe Mac when he tells each of them separately that he only loves and belongs to Rimi Sen plays Anjali, Akshay’s fiancé in the movie.
Mac, who is already engaged to Anjali, convinces each of the three girls (the airhostesses) that she is the one and only one for him. Sam threatens to reveal Mac to Anjali.
The voluptuous hot babe Neha Dhupia appears in the movie in an item number.
What happens when all the girls land in the flat at the same time? Its trouble time for Mac and how he gets out of this hilarious situation forms the crux of the movie from there on.
This is the first time when the two macho hunks Akshay and John are teaming up for a film, surprisingly a Priyadarshan is one those filmmakers who has tasted success in both Hindi and South Indian films. His notable films in Bollywood are ‘Virasat’, ‘Gardish’, ‘Hera Pheri’, ‘Hungama’ and Hulchul among others.
Produced by Ganesh Jain and Ratan Jain for Venus Records and Tapes, ‘Garam Masala’ is coming to tickle your funny bone this Diwali.
