Something, Something, Unakkum Enakkum is the Tamil remake of the Telugu flick, Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana , which was a super duper hit. The Telugu version was directed by actor-cum-director and dancing sensation Prabhu Deva.
Top Telugu actress Trisha played the female lead in the Telugu original. Well, director Raja has cast Trisha as the heroine in the Tamil version too. Jayam Ravi is the hero.
The
movie, which has been produced by Editor Mohan, will have music by veteran Devi Prasad.
Apart from Trisha and Ravi, the cast includes Prabhu, Kalabhavan Mani, Cochin Haneefa, Richa Pallod, Tejashri and ‘Autograph’ fame Malliika.
In the film Ravi plays a rich Non Resident Indian, who falls in love with a village belle (Trisha). But the heroine's brother (Prabhu) is opposed to their love.
The film has been shot in Tamil Nadu and some foreign locations. A highlight of the film is the fabulous sets – as many as 30 – made up by art director G. C. Anandan.
The film, shooting of which is almost complete, is expected to give a big boost to the career of young hero Jayam Ravi, who happens to be director Raja's brother.
