New Delhi, Jan 27 (ANI): Its Bobby Deol's birthday today and the actor has turned 46! Hailing from a family of stars, Bobby Deol started out in films as a child actor. No doubt Bobby Deol was born with a silver spoon, but he has had a very tough time creating his base in the industry.
Born into the Punjabi Jat family to Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur as Vijay Singh Deol, he is now known as Bobby Deol. Young Bobby started off as a child actor in the film Dharam Veer in 1977 as a younger version of Dharmendra, the lead actor of the film.
His latter debut as an adult, was with Twinkle Khanna in 1995 through the film Barsaat and he won the Filmfare Best Debut Award for it. He did a series of films after this in which he had his signature look with his long hairlocks. He got real recognition through his 2002 film Humraaz. Even though, Bobby Deol has received recognition and carved his niche, he hasn't been able to bag any hits as such.
