Video - Shahrukh Khan unveils Toyota University Cricket Championship

Watch Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan at the launch of the first Toyota University Cricket Championship, T-20 cricket tournament. SRK said that this was "one of the finest initiatives from NDTV".

“Whatever I am today, it is because of what I learnt at that level (school and universities). There is nothing better than this. It’s one of the finest initiatives from NDTV, apart from Marks for Sports. Sports can be a salaried job and I would like to be a brand ambassador for any sport,” said Shahrukh Khan

Mumbai, Jan 18 (ANI): Shahrukh Khan launched NDTV's Toyota University Cricket Championship, a new inter-university tournament in the T20 format. The concept promises to revive university cricket in India.

As the slogan states 'Ab Humari Baari hai', the campaign intends to discover, nurture and promote young cricketers and provide national exposure to extra-ordinary sporting talent. Well, with SRK as the face of the tournament, the championship league is likely to generate tremendous interest all over the country.
