Shoojit Sircar Biography

Shoojit Sircar hails from West Bengal in India. He was brought up in the theatre atmosphere of Delhi and he launched a theatre group before switching over to cinema.

In 1999, Sircar founded Red Ice Films, one of the country�s leading film production houses. Sircar�s creative output has been prolific with well over 200 commercials and music videos to his name.

�Yahaan� is Sircar�s first feature film.
